Terms of Service

Account creation is optional. You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. However, some features are only available to registered users.

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the accuracy of your account information
• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host, distribute, or share any illegal or unlawful content
• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or malicious code
• Send spam or engage in automated abuse of the platform
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

“Unlimited” features are subject to fair use. They are meant for sharing your own pages and documents, not for general file hosting or bulk distribution. Pro accounts include up to 20 GB of PDF storage. If an account's storage or traffic is far above typical use, we will contact you before limiting it.

You retain ownership of all HTML content you upload to PageCast. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The PageCast name, logo, and branding are the property of PageCast and may not be used without prior written permission.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Polar, our merchant of record, which processes the payment and handles applicable sales tax and receipts. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

Pro subscriptions begin with a free trial (currently 7 days), and so do Team subscriptions (currently 7 days). A payment method is required to start the trial, and the first charge is made automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One free trial per customer for each plan.

A Team subscription covers one organization and is billed to that organization's owner, separately from anyone's personal plan. If it ends or a renewal fails past a 7-day grace period, the organization becomes read-only and its links stop opening; its content is kept and comes back when the plan is renewed. Deleting an organization cancels its Team subscription at the same time.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period (monthly or yearly, as chosen). You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your content may be permanently removed from our servers.

On the Free plan, links expire and an expired link is permanently deleted 30 days after it expires, unless you give it a new expiry first. Links deleted in an organization stay in its trash for 30 days, where they can be restored, and are then permanently deleted. Links in an organization belong to the organization: members who leave or are removed lose access to them.
